It has taken a year to write this review and I have been meaning to leave it for quite some time, that’s the kind of impression this place left on my crew. First time eating Indian dishes and it exceeded my expectations. This family owned restaurant treated us like regulars and although I wish we were, we live 2,500 miles away and I still crave their food. The story behind how this place began and what they do without bragging is phenomenal. I would give a million stars if I could. Much love.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants that I have been too. It has taken a year to write this review. The Lamb Kabobs appetizer and Shrimp Tandoori are amazing. The veggie samosas are the best I have had. The sauces are thick and spiced well. The only complaint on food is the Tandoori Lamb. It does not taste like actual lamb but is lamb mixed with sausage. Other than that this place is excellent.
Kudos to Star of India for making our reunion of old friends for our 3 birthdays so special. The service and food were great as usual. Mike and Gaurav had heard that it was a special night for us and they checked in with us and offered us a special birthday dessert. They were attentive and genuinely friendly and caring. I'd highly recommend dining in to enjoy a leisurely dinner with friends.
